Give me more | I'm a senior marketing consultant based in Amsterdam. Bitcoin, wearables, early-stage startups, electric vehicles, food, travelling the path less trodden and getting better at tennis are what really interest me.

Take travel as one example. It was once the glamorous pursuit of the few. Now, with budget airlines, cheap hotels and rent-a-cars for nothing, more and more people can see the world on the cheap. The result, however, isn't necessarily a comfortable experience. Throw new technology into the mix with the likes of Citymapper, Uber, Airbnb, Tesla and wearables and travel begins to shine once more - resulting in a shift from owning to using at the tap of a touchscreen.

Combine travel, music, food or fitness with technology and you have an exciting mix of potential possibilities to improve people's lives.
